The Big Fun Blade Shape

This is essentially the next size bigger Cruising Blade .  It's longer (17") but not wider (still 7 5/16").  This is for paddlers who want a smooth, bland, symmetrical feel but with more support -- for applications in squirrelly water or where support for braces and rolls is a concern.  If you were going for huge water in a big boat this would be a good choice.  It also is surrounded by dynel for superior longevity.

The blade is significantly bigger than the Cruising Blade but the swing weight is still modest and pleasing.  This shape is often ordered in lengths of 198-203 cm for big boats/people/concerns.  It compares in surface area to many popular slalom blades but the bi-facial dihedral ( trik style ) renders a smoother feel with a more positive flow off the power face.

Surface area ~88.5 square inches
