It helps to send any customization hints you can -- especially about grip size. A tracing of your hand helps a lot and measurements of "favorite" grip sizes help too. It also helps me custom select the density of your woods if you specify how much you weigh and what you intend to use the paddle for. I can also customize if you want it especially whippy or dense. Send me all the clues you can! If you want specifically light or dark veneer or blade woods I can usually customize that way also.
Some people want custom sayings or phone numbers laminated under the
glass of the blades and I do this for no extra charge. Your name is included in a label under the glass unless you specify not to. Remember to include a phone number or e-mail address in your order so I can contact you when the paddle is near completion.
All paddles are fully warranted for life for materials or workmanship. This means if it fails on a glue line or pin-knot in the blade or shaft woods, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge plus shipping. Regular wear and tear, or catastrophic blowouts are not covered unless a failed glue line or imperfection in the wood is indicated. I do refinishing and refurbishing of paddles for a charge with a usual turn around time of 2-3 weeks. Maintaining your paddle is your best chance for great longevity. Many of my paddles have been in service for well over 10 years. Some for over 20 years!
